Recap: Bloomfield Bobcats vs. West Las Vegas Dons
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Bloomfield Bobcats ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They secured a 53-48 W over West Las Vegas. The win was some much needed relief for Bloomfield as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
It was another big night for Andrew Florez, who scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was Sam Slivers, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds.
West Las Vegas' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of P.j. Montano, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and two steals, and Devaughn Kensey who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Archuleta, who scored five points along with two steals.
Bloomfield's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for West Las Vegas, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-3.
