Recap: Goldwater Bulldogs vs. Peoria Panthers
The Goldwater Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Peoria, falling 63-14. Goldwater has not had much luck with Peoria recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Peoria got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cieraka Lynch out in front who dropped a triple-double on 17 points, 12 rebounds, and ten steals. Lynch is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Michelle Kogbara, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds.
Goldwater has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Peoria, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.
