Baseball Recap: Tigard Takes a Loss

Tigard was the 5-4 winner over West Linn when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by just one run.

Camden McCormack was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April.

Tigard's loss dropped their record down to 10-13-1. As for West Linn, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

While Tigard had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
