Volleyball Recap: Mountain Ridge Comes Up Short

Mountain Ridge and Fort Hill squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Mountain Ridge had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Sentinels. The Miners' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Mountain Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Fort Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Mountain Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fort Hill, they will take on Clear Spring on Friday.
