Soccer Game Preview: Washington vs. Atchison + How To Watch

Washington is 0-8 against Atchison since April of 2022 but things could change on Monday. The Wildcats will host the Phoenix. Washington has given up an average of 4.8 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Washington took on Paola on Thursday. The Wildcats came up short against the Panthers, falling 5-1.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Atchison made sure to put some goals up on the board against Wyandotte on Thursday. They blew past the Bulldogs 4-1. Considering Atchison have won four matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Atchison's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. As for Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Washington might still be hurting after the 8-0 defeat they got from Atchison when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
