Football Recap: Fowler Takes a Loss

Fowler extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-3. They took a blow against the Minarets Mustangs, falling 35-7. If the Redcats were looking for revenge after losing 51-37 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Fowler didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jesse Michel III and Matthew Roman.

As for Minarets, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. Considering they have won three games by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Minarets had a senior duo take command as Caden Larsen picked up 74 receiving yards and a pair of scores and Torin Wolf threw for 143 yards and three touchdowns.

Fowler didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 40-6 victory against Parlier on the 19th. As for Minarets, they have also already played their next contest, a 45-0 win against Riverdale on the 19th.
