On Monday, Turner Ashby got the win against East Rockingham by a conclusive 9-3. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

East Rockingham hit Harrisonburg with a six-run third inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Blue Streaks lost 11-1 to the Eagles.

Harrisonburg saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Delaney Dayton, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Harrisonburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Turner Ashby, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.

Turner Ashby took their win against Harrisonburg in their previous meeting on April 8th by a conclusive 21-1 score. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Blue Streaks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
