Baseball Recap: Mt. Healthy Comes Up Short

Mt. Healthy came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 21-2 to the North College Hill Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 last Friday.

Mt. Healthy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for North College Hill, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Healthy will face off against Winton Woods at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.75 runs per game on average), something the Fighting Owls will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for North College Hill, they will venture away from home to take on St. Bernard-Elmwood Place at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
