Basketball Recap: Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy Comes Up Short

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy lost against Hiawatha back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy Guardians opened the new year with a less-than-successful 54-47 loss to the Hiawatha Hawks. The defeat leaves the Guardians without a win on the season.

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Hiawatha, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-8.

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy is facing Westlake Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Westlake Christian Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Hiawatha has already played their next match, a 71-58 victory against Westminster Christian on the 3rd.
