Mesilla Valley Christian School waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Lordsburg Mavericks by a score of 57-46. The SonBlazers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mavericks, too.

Despite the loss, Lordsburg still got an impressive performance from Zeke De La O, who posted 29 points and seven boards. De La O's evening made it 12 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Aaron Salazar was another key player, putting up 11 points and six rebounds.

Mesilla Valley Christian School's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Lordsburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.
