Baseball Recap: Oklahoma City Broncos Homeschool Makes It Five in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Oklahoma City Broncos HomeSchool, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 13-1 margin over the Aspire HomeSchool Trailblazers on Friday. The Broncos' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

James Skelly made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Skelly was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Carter Arney, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Ayden Horner was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Oklahoma City Broncos HomeSchool always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .552. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
