Landen Dellinger Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Shepherd's Landen Dellinger, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Dellinger rushed for 215 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.6 yards per carry, and also threw for ten yards and a touchdown. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (102.3). That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2023.

Another Game with at Least 119 Rushing Yards from Preston Stephens
Preston Stephens continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his 14th-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 119 rushing yards. He rushed for 143 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also caught a touchdown.
Tarkington had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Stephens it was a similar story. Stephens rushed for 181 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries the last time he and the Longhorns duked it out back in September of 2023.

Brooks turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 130 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, while also picking up 61 receiving yards. His longest rush was for an impressive 62 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Jasper is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. Brooks and Jasper will be playing at home against Hamshire-Fannett at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Isaiah Coleman Makes It Two for Jasper
Keeping Brooks company is Isaiah Coleman, a fellow Jasper player. He threw for 226 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 58 yards.
