Basketball Recap: Gloversville Takes a Loss

After flying high against Scotia-Glenville last Friday, Gloversville came back down to earth. The Gloversville Huskies/Dragons were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 52-51 to the South Glens Falls Bulldogs. The Huskies/Dragons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 58-53.

Gloversville has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for South Glens Falls, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-7.

Gloversville will square off against Amsterdam at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for South Glens Falls, they will face off against Queensbury at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st.
