Preview: Locust Grove vs. Upson-Lee
The Locust Grove Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Upson-Lee Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
After failing to score in their last game, Locust Grove made sure to put some goals up on the board against Heritage on Friday. They came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 4-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Locust Grove.
Meanwhile, Upson-Lee waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Griffin. Three seems to be a good number for Upson-Lee as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.
They hit Griffin with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Kiersten Peoples,
Krissa Lewis, and
Georgia-Gale Hammock.
Locust Grove's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Upson-Lee, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1.
