Softball Recap: Niagara Falls Starts Season with Win Against Mount St. Mary Academy

Niagara Falls gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past the Mount St. Mary Academy Thunder 9-2. That's more bragging rights for the Wolverines, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Niagara Falls and Mount St. Mary Academy will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Wolverines will take on rival Kenmore East at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Mount St. Mary Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Sacred Heart Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
