Basketball Game Preview: Calvert Senecas vs. Old Fort Stockaders

The Calvert Senecas will take on the Old Fort Stockaders in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Old Fort took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Calvert, who comes in off a win.

Calvert is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Danbury: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Senecas blew the Lakers out of the water with a 91-30 final score. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 57-25.

Meanwhile, Old Fort lost to St. Mary Central Catholic on the road by a 48-33 margin on Thursday.

Calvert's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.4 points. As for Old Fort, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
