Basketball Recap: Gavin Howard Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin

The third road game was the charm for Vista Ridge, as they earned their first road win of the season. They walked away with a 56-45 win over the Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin Raptors on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 55-47 back in November.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Vista Ridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gavin Howard, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 16 points in addition to five boards and four steals. Another player making a difference was Cayden Sneed, who posted 13 points.

The victory got Vista Ridge back to even at 9-9. As for Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Episcopal School of Dallas the next time they take the court. Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin will head out to face Episcopal School of Dallas at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, while Vista Ridge will play them later in the day, at 10:30 a.m.
