Max Gist Game Report: vs Gonzales + How To Watch

Passers beware: Max Gist came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also made two total tackles and defended one pass, helping propel Salado past Gonzales by a score of 42-21. We hope Gist's good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Coming up, Gist and Salado will head out to square off against Smithville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The last time Gist duked it out with the Tigers (back in November of 2024), the Eagles came out on top by a score of 59-16. Will another strong game from Gist be enough to do it again?
