Softball Recap: Carman-Ainsworth Takes a Loss

Carman-Ainsworth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 15-2 to the Coleman Comets.

Carman-Ainsworth saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jeriah Davis, who went 1-for-2 with one run. Amiya Adkisson also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Carman-Ainsworth's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Coleman, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-13.

Carman-Ainsworth has already played their next contest, a 21-0 defeat against Merrill on the 3rd. As for Coleman, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-7 victory against Fulton on the 7th.
