Basketball Recap: Celina Comes Up Short

Celina suffered their biggest defeat since January 3rd on Tuesday. They came up short against the Liberty Patriots, falling 63-38. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Bobcats' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Celina moved to 10-9 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Liberty, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Celina and Peaster will round out the year against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bobcats will be up against the Greyhounds' rather soft defense (which has allowed 58.37 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Liberty, they will square off against Brock at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests.
