Football Game Recap: Waukon vs. Columbus

Waukon were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. Everything went their way against Columbus on Friday as they made off with a 38-12 victory. That result was just more of the same for Waukon, who also won the last time these teams played.

Waukon's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 20 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Columbus couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 20-0 heading into the break. Waukon's offense just added to that total in the second half en route to their big win. The win bumped their record up to 6-1. The defeat dropped Columbus' record to 5-2.

Next week Waukon take on Anamosa at 7:30 PM. As for Columbus, they will face off against North Fayette Valley.
