Baseball Recap: Travis Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Travis was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They lost 16-1 to the Legacy Ranch Wranglers. The contest marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Travis saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Victor Mota, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI. Mota is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played.

Travis has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.6 runs over those games. As for Legacy Ranch, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

While Travis had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
