Hoover won the last time they faced Sparkman and things went their way on Thursday too. The Buccaneers took down the Senators 67-48. The Buccaneers pushed the score to 57-31 by the end of the third, a deficit the Senators cut but never quite recovered from.

Hoover's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Michael Glass led the charge by shooting 50% from the field en route to 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Sheffield, who went 7-for-8 on his way to 15 points and seven boards.

Hoover was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sparkman only posted four.

Makhi Hammond and Dee Williams certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Hammond posted seven points, while Williams had five points.

Hoover's record is now 6-3. As for Sparkman, they moved to 6-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Hoover didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-63 win against Spain Park on the 5th. Sparkman has also already played their next contest (against Guntersville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
