            Monett can  bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Friday. They came out on top against the Forsyth Panthers by a score of  6-1.

 Aidan Clapper made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out eight batters over  6.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. He is becoming a predictor of Monett's success: when he allows at  most one  earned run the team is 2-1 (and 7-8 when he doesn't). Clapper was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-5 with one  double and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Landyn Brandt, who  went 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases and two  runs. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Carson Burtrum, who  went 1-for-2 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
The  victory  got Monett back to even at 9-9. As for Forsyth,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 9-8.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monett will host Logan-Rogersville  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Forsyth, they will be playing at home against Ava  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. The Bears will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
