Baseball Recap: Sparkman Comes Up Short

Sparkman lost against Hazel Green back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Sparkman lost 13-3 to Hazel Green. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Senators have suffered against the Trojans since March 14, 2020.

Sparkman has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season. Hazel Green has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-7 record this season.

Sparkman will venture away from home to square off against Bob Jones at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bob Jones' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Sparkman's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Hazel Green, they will host Lee at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
