Passers beware: Jacob Sherman came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also threw for zero yards , but sadly McCann Tech still had to take a 33-24 loss at the hands of Mahar Regional. We hope Friday's matchup is the first of many we'll see posted here as the season progresses.

Sherman and McCann Tech will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Monument Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on October 11. Despite Sherman's best efforts to the contrary, the Hornets will head into their next match having dropped three straight games. Will October 11 be the turning point?
