Upper Arlington suffered their biggest loss since April 5th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Hilliard Davidson Wildcats. The Golden Bears' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

While Upper Arlington was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Hilliard Davidson's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19, 25-21.

William Poth paced Upper Arlington's offense, picking up 11 kills. Poth got some help from Abhiram Busi and his 12 assists. Harry Sisson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Leading Hilliard Davidson to victory were Liam Rothermel and Ryan Monahan. Rothermel had 17 assists and three digs, while Monahan hit 61.5% for 17 kills and 12 digs and one assist. Those 17 assists gave Rothermel a new career-high.

Upper Arlington's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 14-4. As for Hilliard Davidson, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Upper Arlington has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Thomas Worthington on the 1st. Hilliard Davidson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
