It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Blanchester can now relate to. They fell just short of the Miami Valley Christian Academy Lions by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Blanchester saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryce Burress, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Blanchester's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Miami Valley Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.
