Football Recap: Harmony School of Innovation Starts Season with Win Against Varsity Opponent

Harmony School of Innovation took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They breezed past Varsity Opponent to the tune of 49-0.

Leading Harmony School of Innovation to victory were Zubayr Greer and Lennox Jackson. Greer rushed for 32 yards and one score, while Jackson rushed for 45 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Greer a new career-high in passer rating (177.1).

Harmony School of Innovation's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB six times. Leading the way was Ismet Tunc with three sacks. Oluwapelumi John-Sobola got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Looking ahead, Harmony School of Innovation will be playing in front of their home fans against Village at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Varsity Opponent, they have already played their next game, a 69-0 loss against Azle Christian on the 29th.
