Recap: Muncie Central Bearcats vs. Logansport Berries
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Guerin Catholic, the Muncie Central Bearcats were happy to have found some success on Friday. They came out on top against Logansport by a score of 46-37. That's another feather in the cap for Muncie Central, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Among those leading the charge was DeMarkis Cole, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds. Shemar Taylor was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.
Several Berries players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chris anthony Delvalle, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Smith, who scored 11 points.
Logansport struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Muncie Central's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Logansport, their loss was their third straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-2.

Logansport won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Rochester at 7:30 p.m. on December 9th. Hopefully Rochester focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday.
