Volleyball Recap: Lake Howell Triumphs

Lake Howell picked up another tournament win on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Paxon School For Advanced Studies Golden Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Silverhawks.

Among those leading the charge was Gladianis Agosto Rivera, who had four digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last six matches.

Agosto Rivera wasn't the only good servers: Lake Howell was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in six consecutive contests.

Lake Howell's record now sits at 15-5. As for Paxon School For Advanced Studies, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.

Lake Howell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Bartram Trail on the 3rd. As for Paxon School For Advanced Studies, they will be taking part in a tournament against Mainland at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
