Softball Recap: Arlington Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

After flying high against Haltom last Friday, Arlington came back down to earth. The Colts lost 10-1 to the South Grand Prairie Warriors on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 back in March.

Arlington's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-8. As for South Grand Prairie, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 13-8-1.

Arlington and South Grand Prairie should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Colts (ranked 460th) will meet Sam Houston (ranked 934th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, South Grand Prairie will square off against Lamar at 6:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (272 vs. 1009).
