Baseball Recap: Santa Ana Valley Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Santa Ana Valley's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Santiago Cavaliers on Tuesday. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Santa Ana Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Santiago, they moved to 1-5 with that victory, which also ended their nine-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Santa Ana Valley will be playing at home against Magnolia at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Magnolia has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.8 runs per game on average), something Santa Ana Valley will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Santiago, they are taking a road trip to challenge Saddleback at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Saddleback is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.
