Baseball Recap: Plain Dealing Comes Up Short

Plain Dealing lost to Simsboro on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions came up short against the Tigers, falling 13-3. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bo Bailey made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Plain Dealing's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Simsboro, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3-1.

Coming up, Plain Dealing will face off against Summerfield at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Simsboro, they will square off against Homer at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
