Volleyball Recap: Madison-Grant Has No Trouble Against Blue River Valley

Madison-Grant had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Blue River Valley on Tuesday. The Argylls blew past the Vikings 3-0. The Argylls not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 4th (when they won 3-0).

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 26-24, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Blue River Valley still got an impressive performance from Bekah Grim, who had 13 digs and five aces. Sophia Norris also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Madison-Grant's win bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Blue River Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Madison-Grant will head out to take on Pendleton Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Blue River Valley, they will challenge Muncie Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
