Basketball Game Preview: Caney Valley Trojans vs. Mounds Golden Eagles

Caney Valley is on a three-game streak of home losses, Mounds a six-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Caney Valley Trojans will host the Mounds Golden Eagles at 7:30 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Caney Valley came up short against Chelsea and fell 45-36.

Meanwhile, Mounds didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Chouteau-Mazie on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 47-43 win.

Caney Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Mounds, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

Caney Valley came up short against Mounds when the teams last played back in November of 2024, falling 46-41. Can Caney Valley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
