Soccer Recap: Hackensack Comes Up Short

Hackensack fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Ridgewood on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Maroons by a score of 2-1. Hackensack haven't had much luck with Ridgewood recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Hackensack's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-3. As for Ridgewood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hackensack will challenge Teaneck at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ridgewood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Somerville at 12:30 p.m. on the 18th.
