Volleyball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Huntington Huntsmen, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Lions of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-17, 25-13.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Huntington, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Washington will take on Waverly at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Huntington, they will challenge Lynchburg-Clay at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
