Softball Recap: SA Roosevelt Takes a Loss

SA Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 29th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Churchill Chargers, falling 16-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 back in March.

SA Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Churchill, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-13-1 record this season.

SA Roosevelt will take on Clark at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.75 runs per game on average), something the Rough Riders will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Churchill, they will challenge Reagan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rattlers' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Chargers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
