Soccer Recap: Green Run Comes Up Short

If Green Run was riding high fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Booker T. Washington last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Stallions came up short against the Oscar Smith Tigers on Thursday, falling 10-2.

Brooklyn Howard wasn't going to let Oscar Smith walk away unscathed as she scored both of Green Run's goals, bringing her season total up to eight goals.

Green Run now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Oscar Smith, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Green Run will challenge Tallwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oscar Smith, they will take on Granby at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
