Baseball Game Preview: St. Mary's Rams vs. Lincoln Trojans

For the second straight game, St. Mary will face off against Lincoln. The Rams will welcome the Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (St. Mary's 2.5, Lincoln 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.

St. Mary's came out on top against Lincoln on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Rams put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 7-1 win. Considering the Rams have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

St. Mary's got a great performance from Giani Camacho as he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Those six strikeouts gave Camacho a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Dax Hardcastle was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Jacob Kobrin, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for St. Mary's, their victory bumped their record up to 19-6.
