Baseball Game Preview: Enterprise Bulldogs vs. Presbyterian Christian Bobcats

The Enterprise Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Presbyterian Christian Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Enterprise is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering West Lauderdale just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 13-3.

Enterprise saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grant Hickman, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Presbyterian Christian won against Tishomingo County last Monday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. Presbyterian Christian came out on top against Mize by a score of 4-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Not much got past Bankston Walters, who gave up just a hit and racked up 15 Ks to keep Mize off the board. That's the most strikeouts Walters has posted since back in March of 2024.

The victory got Presbyterian Christian back to even at 7-7. As for Enterprise, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Enterprise hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like Presbyterian Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.6 home runs.
