Volleyball Game Preview: New Trier Trevians vs. Mundelein Mustangs

New Trier has won three straight games at home, while Mundelein has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Trevians will host the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m.

New Trier is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Palatine.

New Trier had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-16, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Mundelein earned a 2-0 victory over Highland Park on Tuesday.

Mundelein is on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 21 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-4 record this season. As for New Trier, their win bumped their record up to 24-10.
