Basketball Recap: Coon Rapids Takes a Loss

Coon Rapids was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 88-64 to the Maple Grove Crimson. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 236th, while the Crimson are ranked 64th).

Coon Rapids' loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Maple Grove, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Maple Grove beat Coon Rapids by a score of 88-64 on Monday.
