Basketball Game Preview: Loop Longhorns vs. Sands Mustangs

Loop hasn't had much luck against Sands recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Loop Longhorns will head out on the road to square off against the Sands Mustangs at 8:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Loop took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They strolled past Dawson with points to spare, taking the game 63-45.

Meanwhile, Sands was able to grind out a solid win over Grady on Tuesday, taking the game 42-34.

Loop's record now sits at 22-4. As for Sands, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

Things could have been worse for Loop, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 73-55 loss to Sands in their previous meeting on January 14th. Can Loop avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
