Basketball Game Preview: Cerritos Dons vs. Western Pioneers

Having just played yesterday, the Cerritos Dons will head out on the road to face off against the Western Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cerritos has given up an average of 64.2 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Cerritos is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Monday. They took a 63-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of La Serna.

Meanwhile, Western suffered their closest defeat since November 23, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Waipahu by a score of 46-43.

Western now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Cerritos, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Everything came up roses for Cerritos against Western when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 74-36 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dons since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
