Franklin came into Tuesday's game looking for another win against North Buncombe, but Aubrey Gilliland wouldn't allow it. The Black Hawks walked away with a 61-48 victory over the Panthers on Tuesday for which the team can thank Gilliland, who shot 46% from the field on her way to 33 points and six steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last ten games she's played dating back to last season.

North Buncombe now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Buncombe will host McDowell at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Titans' defense has only allowed 21.8 points per game this season, so the Black Hawks' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Franklin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cherokee at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
