Football Preview: Abilene Eagles vs. Tascosa Rebels

Meanwhile, a win for Tascosa just wasn't in the cards on Friday as the team wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They were dealt a 56-28 loss at the hands of Monterey.
Tascosa might have lost, but man, Tj Tillman was a machine: he picked up 89 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Abilene's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Tascosa, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Friday's game might be decided in the on the ground. Abilene has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 208.9 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Tascosa struggles in that department as they've been averaging 264.9. It's looking like Friday's matchup might have some serious battles in the trenches.

One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Tascosa's Coltyn Fulton, who rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 98 yards and a touchdown while completing 80% of his passes.
