Joyner's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 116 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, a win for Tascosa just wasn't in the cards on Friday as the team wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They were dealt a 56-28 loss at the hands of Monterey.

Tascosa might have lost, but man, Tj Tillman was a machine: he picked up 89 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Abilene's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Tascosa, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Friday's game might be decided in the on the ground. Abilene has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 208.9 rushing yards per game.
