Warren County is 9-0-1 against Cumberland County since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Warren County Pioneers & Lady Pioneers will host the Cumberland County Jets at 6:00 p.m.

Warren County is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 12 runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Stone Memorial on Tuesday. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Evan Snapp was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out seven batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits.

At the plate, Warren County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Adams, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Cumberland County put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Oakdale a 15-0 shutout. Fans of the Jets have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Cumberland County got a massive performance out of Titus Ostrander, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Ryder Myers was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Cumberland County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oakdale only posted an OBP of .211.

Warren County's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Cumberland County, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Everything went Warren County's way against Cumberland County in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Warren County made off with a 7-0 win. Does Warren County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Cumberland County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
