Basketball Recap: North Moore Takes a Loss

North Moore lost against Jordan-Matthews back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The North Moore Mustangs lost to the Jordan-Matthews Jets on the road by a 58-44 margin.

When it comes to explaining why North Moore lost, don't look at Colby Pennington. Despite the final result, he posted 16 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Isaac Parsons, who put up four points.

Even though they lost, North Moore smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.

North Moore now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Jordan-Matthews, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.

North Moore wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 62-51 defeat against Glenn on the 26th. As for Jordan-Matthews, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 68-40 loss against Southwestern Randolph on the 18th.
